Frequently Asked Questions
What treatments does Accident Care provide after a car accident?
We offer a complete continuum of auto-injury care at a single location: physician evaluation, on-site imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound), physical therapy, interventional pain management (trigger point injections, nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections), medication management, and full documentation for insurance and legal claims.
Do I need a referral to start treatment?
No. Accident Care is a direct-access clinic. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours and same-day appointments are available by calling (405) 842-3209. A primary care or ER referral is not needed.
How much does treatment cost out of pocket?
Nothing. Oklahoma PIP (Personal Injury Protection) and MedPay pay for medically necessary treatment regardless of fault. If the other driver was at fault, their liability insurance may ultimately pay. We bill auto insurance directly — you pay nothing up front.
How long does treatment typically last?
Most soft-tissue and whiplash injuries resolve in 6–12 weeks with early treatment. Disc injuries and more complex cases may take 3–6 months. Treatment duration is individualized based on your injury pattern and recovery progress.
Can I see both a medical doctor and a physical therapist?
Yes — under one roof. Our licensed MDs direct all care, and our in-house physical therapists coordinate directly with your physician. You do not need to travel between facilities, and records stay within one coordinated team.
Do you work with personal injury attorneys?
Yes. We work directly with personal injury attorneys across Oklahoma, producing detailed narrative reports, ICD-10 coded diagnoses, causation statements, and future-care projections that meet the standards required by insurance companies and the courts.
What if my symptoms appear days after the accident?
This is common — whiplash, concussion, disc injury, and soft-tissue trauma often produce delayed symptoms. Come in as soon as symptoms appear. Evaluation within 24–72 hours of the crash is ideal but later treatment is also highly effective.
